NYC TLC Car Rental - TLC car rental FAQ

Get in a NYC TLC car rental fast with Fast Track.  Our TLC car rentals are ready to drive so you can start making money with Uber, Lyft, Curb, Juno or VIA immediately. 

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Active DMV license
  • 3 Years of verified US driving experience
  • TLC license
  • Debit card with bank statement

Once all of your required documents are approved, you can select an available vehicle and start working the same day!

Preventative Maintenance

As part of the  weekly rental fee, we cover your preventive maintenance costs (excluding flat tires, wheels, glass, or any other issue that was caused by the driver).

Insurance

All of our cars have insurance that meets TLC’s vehicle insurance requirements.  There is a $1000 deductible per occurrence for any damages that occur while in your possession during the rental period.

Weekly Rental Price

The weekly price covers your vehicle, insurance, TLC car rental FAQ TLC/DMV requirements, and preventative maintenance. Tax is included in the price.

Rental Period

There is a minimum rental period of 2 weeks.  You also must notify us 1 week prior to the vehicle return date.

EZ-PASS & Other Tickets

Drivers are responsible to bring their own EZ-PASS.  If any tolls are incurred during your rental period, they will be paid then billed to the driver with a $5 processing fee.

Drivers are also responsible for all tickets and fines while in possession of the vehicle including (but not limited to) EZ-PASS, parking, traffic, and TLC.

Returning Your Vehicle

To return your vehicle, fill out our return form or notify us on our appTLC car rental FAQ If you do not give at least 7 days’ notice prior to your return date, a $200 early return fee will apply.  We do not accept early returns in-person or over the phone.

Vehicle Repairs

All vehicle repairs of any kind must be done by Fast Track. If an unauthorized repair is made, you will be fully responsible for any and all additional repair work that might be needed in order to properly repair the vehicle.

Accidents

If you are involved in an accident, please take the following steps:

  • Call the police
  • Take a picture of the registration on the windshield of your vehicle
  • Take a picture of any damage on the vehicle
  • Fill out the accident form or notify us on our app
  • If you need to be towed, please call 718-370-0775
